Knew I wanted a rx-7 when I saw one @ the age of 13 all modded with a body kit.
Got one just like the one I saw as a kid when I was 21. Now on my 4th fb, 2nd GSL-SE. Still lovin it. Still addicted!!! (My 1st RX-7 is still around, owned by my mechanic, but he striped it of the body kit and rims, restored to original)

So, I think you've got a good sample size. Whats the average and mean of our ages :-) The spread looks like 15 to 75 so far ( just an approximation as I haven't read every post on this thread ).

25.
I bought my first FB when I was 19, my first SA when I was 22 and my second SA last year at 24.
I think I'm addicted. Now I'm planning an engine swap and a extensive rust repair job.

Just turned 18. I'm very fortunate in the fact that my car was my dad's daily driver for 13 years. I grew up with the car, and I was lucky enough to have it handed down to me.
Thus far, my father has spent $2900 on parts to rebuild my engine, and once I get transportation/a job, I will repay him. My FB isn't getting rebuilt anytime soon, though, because the amount of money left to make it road worthy is not very economical for me. So, my father and I are going to split the cost of a DD (looking for a stock EG) so that I can have something reliable/good on gas to get me to and from school/work.
I'm very lucky to have the parents that I do.
