How much would U pay for this 1st Gen?

Looking for a bit of info guys. How much would you pay for an 84 GS, Very clean, original paint, with just 68K miles. Color: charcoal.

There have been upgrades: Tokico shocks and struts, sway bars, dual Webers, headers with dual straight thru, high perforamce flywheel, hipo fuel fuel pump. All the original parts would come with the car if I want to return it to stock. Car was tuned and OK'd by the local Rotary shop.

Only known issue is poor radio reception (I'd probably hunt down the casette EQ unit anyhow). Thoughts on a fair price?

ok, 68k miles? Damn Damon, you're a cheap bastard!

if that was your car, what would you list it for sale for?
Hell, the parts alone are worth 2k.

I'd say 3k is a fair market value if it in is the condition I'd expect for a 68k mile car (near perfect)

Guys, this is a clean car with just 68,000 miles. $1250? You have got to be kidding -- it's not a parts car! As much as I'd like to to pay that, i don't think it will fly. The dude's at $4000 now, down from $5000. (of course, he's had it for sale for 3 months, and nobody bit at it).

I wouldn't go higher than 2k myself. Even though low mileage is cool and all, its not everything. I would be hard pressed to spend more thna 2k for a first gen, unless it was a 79 limited, 80 leather sport or some other "special" one in good condition. just my 2 cents

I too agree. The "original" thing is a little over rated in my book. 1st gen's are relativley cheap for the performance. For 5k I'd buy a TII!!! or at least buy one for 1k and make it bad *** with the othere 3 or 4.

Good luck and keep loving those rotaries

sounds alright if it's interior, etc is in good shape, and it runs well...

I paid 3k for my 82', but it is in excellent condition, is the color I wanted, came with a parts car, new tokico blues, panasports with very fresh tires, a set of 5 SA wheels in excellent condition with lugstuds, a 46k tranny with only redline run in it, fresh clutch, lsd rear, old rotory magazines, a heap of receipts, and about 12 boxes of other random parts.
She's been serving me well since I bought her. She had about 2 hours and $30 worth of trouble the second day I had her, but since then (about 6 weeks) she's been great the other 4000 miles I've put on her. I have to admit that it was mainly the color and panasports that roped me into spending that much on an FB though.

price seems fair to me. gf picked up an '83 gs w/11k one-owner stock garage queen (no rain) for a little above $5k two years ago. market is hard now, so i'd say anywhere bt. $3-4k is good.

I picked up my '85 GS for 3750.... Bone stock, the best condition SA I've ever seen, and only 54K miles.... I know I paid a lot. Don't care. I love this car.
