well heres what i've done to my 84 gsl-se. take a guess. i'll be geting it dynoed in a month or so. when i have the money.
-88 n/a 13b
-custom intake. bassically i made a free flowing cone filter setup.
-EGR removed
-Air pump removed
-ACV removed
-rats nest crap removed
-racing beat header with a cherry bomb turbo II muffler welded on right after the header. then 2.5 inch back to a muffler(yet to be determined)
-Power steering removed(due to the fact that when i picked it up the pully fell out of the pump)
-the exhaust has been heat raped and treated
-the intake pluming has been raped as well the keep the air away from the heat.
-eletric fan
-ran by a 84 gsl-se ecu
-secondary injector holes on the intake were pluged up.
-84 front cover and dizzy
-84 vacum switches(took forever to sort this out)
-84 sensors(throtlle posistion, oil preasure sender, water temps, air temps, AMF)
-84 oil pan and filter
-lightened flywheel

the only real upgrades were the custom intake, custom exhaust, all the crap removed.
what do you think? what kinda power?

 

You RAPED your intake plumbing? You sick perv. LOL. I'm guessing 145HP give or take.

 

I'd guess around 160 at the wheels. "the intake pluming has been raped" sorry, but that makes me giggle.

Well it's not ported. The intake you made could go either way +/- as for power output. The stock 88 where rated for 146 FLYWHEEL HP. The headers help.

I say 120 REAR-WHEEL HP, - Max.

On an stock port 13B, that wouldnt be bad at all.

 

you're saying between the engine and the wheel there is a 10%- 15% power loss for our cars? ok my question is how much do you think i'm makin at the flywheel then?

10-15% is really good the general average that I have heard was 18-20%
