How much HP or torque can a 84-85 rear end take?

How much HP or torque can a 84-85 rear end take?

like it says ^
Seems like every one of the turbo guys that have over 350hp seem to be running some other rear out of some american car.

your car hehe maybe 200hp so rusty.... i would love to know exactly how much, but se's should last a good while without any repeated drag launches

I made 280.1 rwhp in my 85 GSL turbo. Have been daily driving since april and went to the track once and did 5 passes on street tire with 2.2-2.3 60 ft times. My rear end is still there. The vid is actually in this section.
