How many FB guys going to Rotorfest in June?
Just out of curiosity- How many NE guys (or gals) are heading to Rotorfest in NJ the end of June? I'm 99.9% positive I can make it up for the event. Wondering how many 1st gen's will be making the trek....
i'll be there, just without either 7... no rear brakes coupled with no insurance on the 7 (can only afford insurance on the volvo)
but i'll be there
the '80 was there last year, so it's seen the glory.

I'm gonna drive my 85 there..I'll have to hustle to get my air damn and lights on. Other than that- she's road ready. Any body got preferences on accomodations around there?
accomodations? like hotels you mean?
Anyway, I'm going with my 83 S (hopefully all one color, the primer spots are drivng me crazy) Inittab and bizarro are going too. If last year is any indication there should be quite a first gen turnout. iirc last year there were like 25 first gens. not bad. Some of them pretty damn nice too. see you guys there.

Yeah- good hotels would be cool. I wouldn't mind camping, but my friend might tag along and he's not much into the outdoor thing..
inittab might be able to help with the hotel thing, he lives practically right there. You said its a 4.5 hour drive right, why not just leave early in the morning and drive home the same day. I know that would be tiring, but it would save you the money of getting a hotel. just a thought.

Howry Cowr!! That's a little plush..
Plus I don't like the idea of having a "two person soaking tub" when I'm travelling with my bud!!
I'll be there, but I'll find a motel outta town somewheres (no soaking tub either!)

hehe yeah
The closest "hotel/motels" are in the Parsippany area. It's about an hour from the fair grounds.
Here's a thought...there is a camp site about 10 minutes from the fairgrounds...
those of you who are out of state can make it a cool camping trip as well...they have all the facilities needed...bathrooms, showers...etc...heck...i'm thinking of caming it out as well
Cabins : Ten furnished cabins each with fireplace; two single beds; one double-deck bunk; kitchen with cold running water, refrigerator, electric stove; half-bath with toilet and sink. Electric lights. Each accommodates four people. With prior permission from the superintendent, two additional people may be accommodated. $40 per night, $280 per week
Cabins 7 - 15: Accommodates eight people. Facilities are the same as listed above, except Cabin 15 includes a shower and hot and cold running water. $80 per night, $560 per week
Group Cabin 16 people: Accommodates twelve people. Facilities are the same as Cabin 15 and includes two sleeping areas and two full bathrooms. $120 per night

sounds like fun. Is this the ONLY rotary gathering on the East Coast? I would go but, mine is just primer gray right now. Maybe next year it will be painted and ready. What do ya think, red or white????
