How long have you had your 1st Gen?
And yes, another poll! I got the idea for this one from rustbucketrx7. He mentioned in a post that he had his rex for 10 years.
This time I did remember to allow you to choose multiple answers since I know some of you guys have more than one car.

Oh well, I voted for my "true" RX-7. The one that I have, drive, and built myself . Thats the only one that matters anyway .

I was defected in a random vehicle inspection for being too loud @ 105db at 4000 rpm.
Unfortunately after replacing the muffler with a POS standard deal and getting re-inspected, they found a couple of other things that failed me.
Such as, the key comes out of the ignition while the car is running, rear window tint too dark, blah blah blah. I couldn't be bothered fixing it in the two days they allowed, so I was gonna fix it and then get a permit to get it all cleared up, until... My brother asked if he could borrow my radiator to get his own car back on the road. So I decided it was time to spend some money on my car and make it heaps faster.
Sounds like a good idea to me.

its kind of handy when u leave something in the house u can just take the keys out and still let the car warm up.

9 Years and change here. 2nd owner, and I got it as a real steal. Took a 4 year breather due to fuel delivery problems I didn't have the time to deal with (ended up being varnish coated fuel tank/lines) and now she's back to life and prettier than ever

No pics. Sorry. Still mostly stock. I've had mine since 1984. It was the only SE on the lot (small East Texas town). It's been the best car I've owned/driven/worked on/etc...It had 28 or so miles when I bought it and it now has over 315K. Motor replaced in the late 280s.

I still really don't own it but it's mine (ya know what i mean?) I'm 14 but my dad promised to me when i was 9, so that makes hmmm....5 years. My dad did all the work on it (cept a couple of the paint jobs). My dad got a new car (WRX) and it is sittin on side the house and everynowandagain someone will drive it. Currently my older bro. is driving it cuz his MX-6 is bein painted. LAter

I have had 5 Rx7's in the past two years...seems like longer but it has been two... Everyone I had was in real good shape.. I would have kept them all but I have no room. If I see another one I like just a littel better, I sell the one I have to get that one. I usually break even ( I don't loose money...knock on wood) so I really don't care. I have two GSL-SE's now....selling one...I have my eye on a couple very low mileage rx7's (not SE's) ...but they are too far away to buy..I have the bug for these cars...I collect MUSTANGS but now ...it is the "7" I can't seem to get enough of. I have a white GSL-SE that has 82,000 miles and I will never sell it cause I paid too much for it...nuff rambling......cjf
