I was just wondering, as I sent through some old PM's... who's been here as long as me?

I was member 2008 I think... way back in 1998... maybe...? I don't remeber for sure...

Who's been here long enough to remeber the big forum crash of 2001 when we lost everything?

I used to have a forum name when I first got my car 3 years ago or so. I never posted though. It was more of an occasional thing once a week or so. But when I came back to the site I had lost it. Oh well just started from scratch. Not to mention I got hooked. I think that under my new name I joined in Dec of 2004 or something like that.

 

I always look at the join date under the member name.

I owned my first 7 in 2000 but didn't have mad tite intra web skillz so I didn't find the club until Nov '02, Rx7 Club.com go figure something so simple I missed. When I found the forums I read everything in the first gen section in that one night, so that cought me up to everyone else (in my eyes).

The real question is how long before you started posting in the lounge, It took me ~ 1 year before my first lounge post, I searched.

I joined before the crash when I was looking at a dark green FB when I was like 15 - so 1999?

then I forgot about rx7's for a little while - till I found my 10AE in april 2002.

I've gone through like 12 rx7's since then - still have the AE too - had a wonderful GSL-SE.. now I'm fixing up my rusty '83

Well I had a couple of sevens before I joined and that was when I was in 9th grade. And I failed thrid so that would have made me about 16 when I first found the site. I didnt join I just looked around. I joined not to long ago. But I have been posting like a mad man. I love this place. No one around here even has a seven besides me a couple of forum members.

Woot so close to the majical 1000th post. I hope some of the questions I post are uaful to others, every once and a while I try to come up with something original that way you cant just say search. trying to make you guys think again. lol.

I just joined early this month.

 

I started reading stuff here some time in 1999, but never registered or posted until a few months after i got my first rx in 2002. I've allways been an RX nut. In auto shop in high school I tought the class for 2 days about it since the teacher new nothing. That was in 1999... LOL I got an easy A in that class.
