NY how to install a holley carb

Hey all my fellow ROTORHEADS, I need to know if someone can post pics or give me detailed instructions on how to install a racing beat intake and 465cfm holley carb kit into a 12a. Actually it is installed but it does not look right to me, my engine is stock but from the looks of what I have seen on some pics from some of the threads that where put up on this forum I noticed that my intallation differs from the ones illustrated in the pics. Can someone help me out please?
One example is the fuel reg.on a pic I saw shows a 3rd hose coming out of it as where mine has only 2 hoses ( one coming from the fuel pump and the other connects to the carb it self) Thanks in advance for any info I can get.

The third hose may have been for a return. Post up some pictures of your set-up, we can help walk you through it.

Pics don't show a lot of detail. Take another set during the day for greater detail/definition. As far as the regulator goes, the bottom hose is the supply from the pump, the 2 side ports supply the carb, even though only one is is needed. I use the extra feed port for the fpr.

How's the engine running in general?

the engine starts up perfect and does run ok when I gradualy accelerate but when I quickly step on the accelerator I get a lil bogging. I adjusted the accelerator pump a bit, but I just can't seem to make it go away although it is better than it use to be. I have two other issues that are bugging me as well (1)she is burnning super rich (2) the fuel gauge is reading the pressure at 4-4.5 and I have tried adjusting the fuel regulator and it has no effect. On saturday I will change the holley red fuel pump for the mallory 4070m and I will remove the regulator, just to see how it will read then.

What psi do the 2 different pumps put out? You are aware that Holley has makes 2 different fprs. one is 0-4 psi the other is 1-1/2 to 9 psi. Holley's are supposed to run on 5-6psi. If the psi is low, yet the carb is running rich, then the jets are most likely too large. You need to get your hands on an a wideband to dial in your tuning. That's the only way Ian and I finally got the DCDs where they are now.

The Mallory 4070M Fuel Pump is an ideal unit for use with the Holley and Weber carburetor units that we offer. The Mallory 4070M pump is a high-pressure, 12-volt fuel pump that delivers 70+ GPH (free flow) and contains an internal bypass regulator set at the Racing Beat recommended 6 PSI. This pump features 3/8" NPT thread sizes, and a 5/16" feed line is recommended. (Hose fittings are not supplied with this pump.)
The holley flows 97 GPH (free flow), flows 67 GPH at 5 PSI, pressure is pre-set at 7 PSI.
