How EXACTLY to install respeed swaybar?
Thought I could wrap up my project today, but same as has been the last 12 months...FAIL! I got the respeed lineup of; race coilovers, camber plates, illuminas, and front sway bar. Today I realized when assembled, the sway bar and end links smash into the brake line bracket on the strut tubes when the wheel is turned. WTF?!?! What did I do wrong? The bar looked the same right side up or upside down, left to right, etc. The strut tubes both have the brake line bracket 180* opposite the spindle on the backside...I see no mention of others having this problem, and it isn't mentioned in the instructions, but I don't see how I could have assembled it differently with different results. Please Help!!!

I had this too, ended up having to bend the brake line bracket out of the way. Wasn't happy about doing that, but at that point I wasn't really in the mood to cut it off and weld it up higher.
At the time I was running the FC brake kit and re-speed hose which didn't have provisions to be held onto that bracket so it wasn't a huge deal for me.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll either have to weld it up higher, or just bend it out of the way and zip tie the line on or something... Not really sure why it's not addressed in the directions.

Anyone with bar AND roll center spacers?
I doubt the tight-a$$ed inspection stations around here will look kindly to brake lines zip tied as a mount...What about roll center spacers? Since they go inbetween the bottom of the strut, and the control arm...And the bar mounts to the control arm, but the bracket is on the strut tube,,,then shouldn't it clear with no issues? Can anyone chime in here with the bar AND roll center blocks?

Chopped mine. With stainless hoses they don't flop around much so I have never bothered securing them to the strut. Even at full droop there is enough length in the line to not cause issues so I've never been concerned with it.

I have the 2" roll center blocks installed. I took a quick look, and it appears that this does indeed move the bracket up enough to avoid the issue you are having.
Hope this helps.

OMG...It's been a nightmare. Finally seeing a hint of light at the end of the tunnel. Got the roll center spacers this week, got a day off of work, FINALLY the car is in one piece and back on the ground. Now I need inspection, corner weighting, and somehow alignment...

I got the 1.5" ones from Respeed. Drove the car today...feels horrible. Back end gently "hops" up and down as your coasting in a parking lot, steering is HEAVY and horrible.I need to get properly setup somehow. Methinks me went too low? It's sitting on 195/50R15's and there are five more threads on the rear collars, and 12 more threads remaining on the front collars...

Welllll.......the wheel/tire combo looks great!
You def didnt go so low that you should be having all these problems.
Biggest concern for me is the rear end hop.....yikes! wth is that
I'd call Sam at re-speed 1st chance you get, get some manufacturer support.
liking the blue also!

Well, I did drive it before this final lowering, and it didn't have the "wheel hop" It has now. But it was as high as both coilovers went, illumina's were on "1" and I had the stock 14" wheels on. Then, I set shocks to full stiff, lowered all around alot, and put my nice 15" wheels on...I might have run out of rear shock travel?

No...If it had been, I would'be assumed my wheels were ***** and bent. I drove it last summer on stock suspension and those 15" wheels, then stored them in my parent's basement for the winter. Def. not the wheels...Have to wait for the weekend so I can get back to where the car is...

The Illuminas may be too long for your ride height. I'm running some short bodied Bilsteins. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to run as low as I do. Running a larger wheel means even less travel for you, so I would be your issue is due to the length of the shock.
Good luck...
