Learning alot about this car. Dont know much about the wankels. But it kinda sounds like it has a miss when I first start it up. Is this normal? It dose start good. Aswell the guy told me that it was proted dose it sound proted I tired to look in the ports but could not really get my head up in between the frame rail and motor. The car has no Exhuast besides header. On a personal note the vid is from my cell phone could get a btter one if it helps

 

I have no speakers, but if it sounds lumpy, like it had a long duration cam shaft. its probably ported. did he say what kind of port? somtimes they miss when its cold. thats why we have to always let it warm up

 

yea he said street port. Its a 1985 gsl se by the way.

I only listened for about 5 seconds but it didnt sound ported to me
