How does the quarter window garnish differ over years?

Does anyone know how the SA and FB quarter window garnish differ?

I am replacing the driver's side quarter window on my '79. (The little triangle glass behind the drivers door.) I suspect the plastic pegs will break off when I take the little black triangle off because that is what happened when I took the window off the '81 at the scrap yard.

The parts fiche calls this piece a garnish. The dealer said they can't get one. Victoria Britsh only lists the passenger side for the 79-80 but they do list the drivers side for 81-85. (RX.36 page 9.)
