How does my Jetting look?

Good day!

I just wanted your opinion on my jetting.

40 Dellorto DHLA :

38mm venturies
190 main fuel
210 main Air correction
7772.8 emultion tubes
.3 Idle jet holder (Idle air jet)
60 idle jets.

It pulls strong from 5000-7300.
I think the aircorrection might be a bit too big.

Am i going the the right direction?

Karis

I can't offer any advice. My RB prepped dellorto had power from 2k to 4k on a street ported 13B. It was appearantly only meant for a stock ported engine, and when it was on one, it used to have power up to a higher RPM. I don't even know what a healthy power band is supposed to be on a dellorto (I guess I could look in my '71-'85 RB catalogue). Good luck with it.

just one 40 MM carb? That isnt going to cut it, even on a stock port you need at least a 45. You got bigger things to be worrying about than your jetting

yeah.. 40 is pretty small for a bridge port. upgrade to a 51 IDA if u can. or 55 DCOE. they have true magic and power

Thanks for the comments!

Well, the 40mm is all i have!Trying to make it perform as good as possible.Only the very rich people can afford IDA`s here...

It is a big step up from the Nikki performance wise, and my Nikki was far from stock.

The nicest thing about it?The fact that it starts on demand, and idles!

:-)
