I've driven both an '85 GS, and an '86 GXL. Both cars were lightly modded. In all honesty, I liked them both, but the 1st gen had more of a "fun factor" to it than the FC. The FB I drove had mainly suspension mods, and handled just as well as the FC I'd say, but someone with not much experience would tend to lose the FB before the FC. I think FC's are more forgiving due to the IRS.

Even though the GS I drove was slower, I would've taken it over the FC I drove. Now I have the best of both worlds, an GSL-SE. Now I can be faster than a N/A FC, and have the feel of the FB. Yay for me. Now I just need to get it running.

Is this how you would feel in a FC if you were going down hill??? cuz of its size...
You can't really compare a seven to a van or a suv can you??

The kouki FC with the round tail lights sure does look good. I'm kinda jealous that there are more choices to aftermarket "cosmetic" parts for the FC. What I don't like is that pull my fat finger turn signal that its got. I think I want a turbo II model as a daily driver if I could ever find one in my price range.
