i would like to know as well, what i did there are 3 clips as mentioned in the above link i think i used a flat screwdriver and gently removed the trim but i broke 2 out of there and i luckly found replacements on a junkyard car but maybe you have to remove the rectangle airvent thing before the trim so you can get at those clips? not sure on that
but worth i try i suppose
good luck and im also intrested on this without breaking the clips

grab it firmly standing by the door and kinda push/pull up towards the windshield. All the clips will shatter and fly everywhere. You can get a new clip kit from blackdragon for $9.99 which includes everything.

there is almost a 0% chance of getting off all of the trim without breaking the 25+ year old plastic clips

you need to slide the trim piece UP to allow the cut-outs on the trim to slide to the retainer clip, then it should pull away from the A-pillar. There are TWO clips on each A pillar, so you are pulling up the trim piece to match these two clips. Should NOT take a lot to work these free once matched up. You WILL bugger them if you force them, they are delicate...

Yea, those plastic clips normally end up giving their lives holding the trim on. I've got them from Black Dragon but found them cheaper in bulk, on ebay. The're still available and a must have if your pulling the trim.
