how do you rejuvinate a nerf wing?

I just bought a second hand rear nerf wing for a series 3, its in better condition than mine, but my question is, How do you rejuvinate the wing to get it back to looking new, and help protect it?

some people have said wash it in a mix of vasoline and warm water, or as vinyl rejuvination cream, has anyone tried either or have any better suggestions??

My GS came with a fiberglass wing that was faded. Sanded and painted it. Probably no help to you though. Sorry. Good luck though.

Black Shoe Polish... No lie.

I use it on black rubber trim all the time.
