if your carb is in good condition and doesn't need a rebuild i'll do it for pretty cheap. but you need to pm me so i can explain what has to be taken off the carb and how the drivability is going to be. i can set the carb up to be very close in the tune but each turbo setup is different as i've seen when i did 84gsNC's. i can rebuild the carb too, but i do not want to take away from sterling/carl. they have a great thing going with that and deserve all the business on the nikki's. i just boost prep them..... unless you are on the west coast, then go thru robert @ rotary shack.

I think he might want actual info on this to know what is done- and how hard it is to do. Like removing the choke-butteryflys- can't really use a choke on the blowthrough- easy to do. Change the secondaries to mechanical- a simple mechanics wire wrapping the primaries to the secondaries is easily done-easy. And the part I am only slightly unfamialer with the nikki from a weber blowthrough, making sure the air above the floats see boost pressure. There is some vent that goes to the top of floats that needs to reference boost. Can't be hard to figure out with the top of the carb cover off to see how. Finally probably a carb rebuild is a good idea while apart- slightly harder, but not really if you are mechanically inclined.
