How do u store an RX-7?

Guys, my RX is going into storage in a few weeks, and I know that there are some things i should do before I hibernate it...

Question is... what? Can someone give me the list of things I should do to store it?

PS... I can't put it on blocks, because it will be in a "mass storage" area... (other cars will be around it, and the floor is of dirt)

Thanks guys!

I was planning on storing mine this winter, too. I was thinking of soaking it in ATF for the winter, only if I can't afford to send it away for a BRIDGE PORT.

I'm going to disconnect the battery and have mine up on stands all winter long. I plan to be working on mine, though, and it's a heated garage.

If your going to store it for the winter, I would drain all the fuel lines and fuel tank. that stuff can get gummed up, and come next spring the gas will be bad anyways.
A thorough coating of ATF is a good way to clean the engine and prevent rust. If its going to be on dirt, I would seriously consider blocking off your tailpipes don't laugh but little critters might want to build a nest in your exhaust. All I can think off. I don't think your tires will dryrot, I would keep the window or sunroof cracked or air it out evey once in a while.

Get a good quality car cover (breathable and wraps under the car)
Put a little extra preassure in the tires, give all the plastic surfaces a double dose of armour-all, disconnect the battery, either drain the fuel or add fuel stabilizer, block up the intake and exahaust to keep critters and moisture out, give her a tripple dose of ATF (or even better MMO).

I drain the coolant system myself. The water and anti-freeze will likely seperate out, and the watter will beding to corrode the coolant system. I also like to drain the oil as I find it has a tendancy to sludge up. Some people tell you that draining the oil and coolant will cause rust but look at it this way:
1)The only thing the oil will be protecting is the oil pan
2)The coolant is 50% watter whicj will rust the engine.

So exactly what is a "dose" of ATF? How much is enough? And, also... one of my tires has a nail in it... no leak... but should I pull and plug it before it goes into storage? I know... dumb question... it's late over here...

But I would like to know... exactly what does an ATF treatment consist of? I have heard different procedures, but which is the best way???

One dose of ATF is generally considered one capfull of ATF on each rotor.

What I do when my RX is going to be sitting for over 2 weeks is the following:
1) Pull the plugs
2) Poor a small capfull of MMO (or ATF) in the hole
3) Rotate the engine two times
4) Repeat 2) 3)
5) For Anything over 2 months I'd probably add a third dose.
