How do i remove the e-brake handle?
Does it even come off?
The chrome trim in between the handle and the arm of the e brake on my 84 GSL decided to start flaking off today
So i think i will paint it black if i can get it off....

take the cover off with the one screw whose head is facing the drivers seat.
IIRC, then to get the actual lever off you have to fully loosen the tensioner for the cable and there is two nuts(or bolts) holding it on. these are either located under the carpet right around it or in the tranny tunnel, i cant remember. i think theyre in the car though. ive pulled the one out of my SA and it wasnt hard at all.
once you look at it youll see what i mean.
