How do I know if my 83 is as fast as it should be?

I really have no idea if my 83 runs as good as it did when it left the dealer 20 years ago. I know it only has 100hp so i cant expect allot, but what are some signs of a 12a 1st gen that runs "realy well"? It seems to run good; I can chirp second fairly easy, but it doesnt have allot of power for throttle induced oversteer (for fun ). Are there any numbers out there, like 50 to 70 that people go by? I should search this huh?

0-60 in 9-10seconds. Top speed 115-120. Thats my benchmark for a completely stock 12a.

Get a Gtech pro meter, go to a strip, or get on a dyno. Any other means will not be accurate. You can use 3rd gear or 4th gear pulls on a stretch of road to measure your car and use that as a base line for future tuning and or modifications but cannot use that measure against others unless they are on the same stretch of road at about the same time.

Just my $.02
