How do I hot wire my car or break the ignition cylinder?

I've searched, but the subject line of most posts are not contextually relavant.

My car was broken into and the stereo stolen, they tried to steal the car, but they couldn't. I'm trying to get the car back into my garage, but the ignition key will not go all the way into the cylinder. So I would like to know how I can bust the ignition cylinder so I can deactivate the steering lock, start it and move it into my garage from the street.

Where is the steering lock located? And can I just use a screwdriver and hammer to bust the lock?

Thanks in advance.

PM me and I can sell you a lock cylinder w/ key.. As for how to break in, Manntis is correct. It's not safe to post that info. If it were posted, the admins would remove it very quickly ( I hope).
