4 bolts I'm pretty sure hold it on.

If your problem is that you can't get it off without causing the pulley to turn use another wrench on another one of the bolts to hold the pully in place while you loosen the other bolts.

Use a strap wrench to hold the pulley while you loosen the bolts.

I use a screwdriver strategically placed vertically to rest against the hub and freeze one of the bolts.

I like the two 10mm wrench method because it is not destructive to the pulley or hardware. A rubber strap wrench could work, as long as it doesn't mar the painted pulley surface.

I just hold the pulley with one hand and loosen the 4 little nuts with my fingers.

My screwdriver method works good and leaves no marks. Just be sure to loosen all 4 bolts before removing any with your fingers.
