ok so heres whats up, i was driving down a side highway back to my house i had my window halfway down just crusing and out of nowhere something was thrown or idk and hit my window at the tip, and it spider webbed the hole window , didnt break but took a chunk out, i have a spare window luckly but ive never put in or took out the window in my car, so how do i do it

1. pull off door panel
2. unscrew 2 clips at bottom of window
3. slide window out, remove broken pieces
4. slide new window to sit on rests on mechanism
5. screw window to clips
6. replace door panel and test

all you need is a phillips screwdriver

 

Well the fastest way to get it out would be to toss a brick at it and then use a vacuum cleaner to clean up the little pieces.

Need to make sure the window is in the down position so you can get to the 2 screws that secure it in place to the regulator. You also remove the 2 plastic retainer clips that are attached to the window before removing the window.
