How do I fit oil metering pump with throttle body conversion
Hi i am currently busy with this project https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/fuel-injected-bridge-port-project-finally-underway-720627/
I need help concerning the oil metering pump. I would rather not go premix, would prefer the omp to be working.
Regarding the oil injectors on the rotor housings, is it entirely necessary that I connect a vacuum to each of them? Or can they be run without? If i need a vacuum what would be the best place on the manifold to take it?
Now for the other two oil pipes, I have the intake manifold from a turbo 2 engine, so i should be able to take the oil fittings from there, but from what i have read you want the fittings to be before the fuel injectors so that it all mixes together and lubricates better, but with the ITB's this would require drilling and tapping into the ITB's which I would prefer not to do, would it be fine to fit them onto the manifold? Where would be the best position to do this?
Any help will be appreciated
Thank You

The air supplied to the 13B style MOP injectors is filtered fresh air, it is not vacuum. Are you running 2 or 4 injectors, I assume 2. If so, a little premix wouldn't hurt.
