On carbd cars theres a fuel pump connector like Nanaimo said. Its under the left storage bin. You could just disconnect it there.

ummm I kinda want to know where the SE fuel pump disconnects. I'm going to be putting an SE pump in my car next week.

As far as that fuse you are talking about iotus, there should be some kind of "EGI" fuseable link in the engine bay. You need to disconnect this.

The ENGINE fuse cuts both the sparks and the fuel pump, so it's fine for testing compression.

The disconnect for the fuel pump is under the drivers side storage bin...

Righton.

Drivers side storage bin, white connector, you can follow it through the floor in a rubber gromet.

Thanks guys. Yes, i have definately lost compression in the front rotor.

An easier way to do it is to disconnect the small clips that go onto the ignition coils, there's one on each coil.

Using those clips is also an easy way to deflood your engine. Pull the 2 clips off, crank your engine for 10secs, plug them back in, and start it up

oh good, this thread made it sound like the SE fuel pump was plugged in somewhere else than where it is on the carburated cars.

Also about the engine fuse, sorry bout that. Its labeled EGI in the FC fuse box, which is what I have. Those fuseable links suck!

I guess its labeled engine in the SE cars. Cool.

I wasn't sure if it was in the same place or not, so I wasn't venturing an opinion, and was making sure others knew it was an SE. I'm glad to hear it is in the same place too
