How do i adjust my clutch pedal?

So a friend drove my car, He says i need to adjust the pedal for the clutch. How do I do this and what does it mean

tell your friend he's dumb because you have a hydraulic clutch, the only thing you can adjust is the immediate freeplay in the pedal which shouldn't be an issue.

if he thinks its soft then you could rebuild your slave cylinder. It made mine alot stiffer.

free play is probably what he's talking about. it's a rod under the dash at the pedal. has a 10mm jam nut. threading this rod in increases free play, alowing clutch to engage closer to the floor. i have mine engaging when pedal is 3-4" off the floor. like me, if he's used to a close to floor engagement, one that engages near the top is just feels weird and uncomfortable. but there is no adjustment if it's slipping. if it's spongy, try bleeding or rebuild/replace like said previously.

My clutch engages at the floor, like i have to push it all the way down.

bleed the system, and change the master cylinder and slave cylinder.

Check the rubber boots on the clutch slace cylinder and clutch master cylinder to see if they are wet with fluid.

If not, bleed the system and try again.
