I could use some brown leather interior parts...
Or the next owner could, if the car sells.

I tryed & tryed to give two that I had, away. No one wanted them.

I own alot of land, and wasn't about to pay someone to take it, so, we busted out the loader/back hoe and they are both went in the ground. We even said a few words before we put the 1st bucket of drit on them & layed them to rest. All the steel is great for the grass/ground.

Well, it took $25 and they came while I was gone. I came home to a few cinder blocks. I was in the same situation as those with shells cluttering up the backyard, except that this one was in front of the house. My mother-in-law's house. 5 days before I left town. She was nervous it wouldn't leave, but it was no hassle. Auto salvage yard hauled it off.

I just got a SWEET deal on disposing of my shell.

Well, a couple weeks ago I gave one of my business cards to another 1st gen owner who stopped in with his SA at my auto parts store I work at.

Apparently, he passed my info about having some parts onto some guy with a 2nd gen vert that was recently crashed. He needed some parts, front bumper, fender, headlight assembly, etc.

His insurance company sent out an adjuster to come look at my shell, and the parts. Now, I guess there is some frame damage on his vert, to they need part of my shell to replace the parts. The guy said they HAVE to be OEM, and it would be easier for them to purchase my car from me and the stripped off parts.

He collected some more info from me and said he'd be calling in the next few days to let me know when they can set up the pick up. I told him I was planning on stripping the whole car, suspension and all, and he said that wouldn't be a problem. They can just yank the shell up on the flatbed.

Hopefully, they offer me even HALF of what the parts cost through Mazda!

Yea this sucks I would take a good shell in a heartbeat, but everyone is too far away. Argh what a pain.

Just in the last 3 weeks there were 2 parts cars in New York that looked to have a good bodies that were sold on eBay for around $100 each. Of course, I don't know where in New York, but it isn't like driving across Texas.

Just keep looking...
