Yes, the caps come off and probably could use a cleaning too, but that's another day. With the + wheels, you would be cleaning the centers also, so they could be left on.

Nice job Kevin. One short warning. Since the alumimum is now clean and exposed, it will corrode faster than before. The sooner it's sealed and protected, the longer the work will last. This would be a good time to paint the rest of the wheel, then shoot an automotive clearcoat over the entire wheel.

Sure will. Any wheels for that matter, do a really good cleaning and wire brush job, then re-clear coat the wheels and they will last you another 10 years!
