How can you Test your Cat?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to test your cat to make sure is not clogged or not?

I know my engine feels like less power even after warming it up correctly. Not sure if that is the problem.

Kitty sepository?

Can you unbolt it, or is it welded? Hit it with a hammer and listen for a rattle. Or, look into the inlet and outlet holes......HAHA.... with a flashlight. If the honeycomb inside is melted then its dead.

But can you trust the muffler shop guys to tell you the truth about it? Man, I always think they'd lie just to try to get some money out of you!
