You might try some adjustable coilovers and instead of lowering the car, raise it... that'd give you a more common size spring, so you could get longer and stiffer or softer springs... only problem would be the newly needed length of the strut (if it's not long enough already, I have no clue) but it's possible some backets could be fabbed up to bolt onto the lower control arm and then to the bottom of the stock strut and fill the void left..
