How can I get rid of all this Emissions Garbage!!!

I'm fairly new in the RX-7 world and right now I just want to get rid of the failing emissions system that is just to me, dead weight. Can anyone give me an idea as to what I need to do to get rid of the rats nest and all that?

Do you have the stock exhaust manifold and catalytic converters on the car?

yeah. It's all stock. What I plan on doing is replacing the exhaust system with an RB setup and put in a weber 45DCOE carb.

I recommend you wait until you start your mods before you remove the rats nest. If you do the Rb exhaust and wait to do the carb then I recommend at that time you remove the air pump, air control valve then use the plate that is supplied to block off the opening from the valve. When you do the carb then you can just remove all of the nest. The archived tutorial will guide you thru that.
