How can I bypass my afm?

I have a 85 se and i want to bypass the afm because its really restricting my air flow. Is there any way to take it off, or get a new one that allows more air flow, something? The intake is pretty big on the car stock, just that afm is holding it back.

you can't bypass the afm with the stock computer, it is what measure's the air going into the engine.
as far as upgrade, no idea, but i know you would be better off going with full exhaust and get more power
