it has 110bhp on a good day, and can normaly keep up with a new honda civic...if run correctly it can beat a 5.0 mustang till the stang hits 3rd gear.

the nice thing about them though is that for about $600-1000 you can make them stupid fast.

they are not a ricer car though....if all your concerned about is getting a car that will beat all those others then get your self the same ******* civic all your ricer frinds have.

oh and P.S. it aint a good idea to come on to a forum about the car and ask how bad it is!

i don't know about a stock one. but a modified one is pretty damn BAD to the bone. you can do a few inexpensive quick mods to a stock 7 to make it better. but spend a grand and you will be impressed.

stock is real slow. mine has an aftermarket exhaust, and the timing is set to stock, and it's slow. not for long though!

They're not about drag racing, they're about handling and braking...learn how to tell when you're about to lose the back end and you won't have many cars able to hang with you in cloverleafs or in curvy stuff...if you work the suspension with shocks, springs and urethane bushings, the limits go way beyond what most are willing to try on the street...that's the real strength and beauty of these cars...the handling...

its all about being able to let the clutch out at the right time with the right amount of gas....if you do that the low inertia of the car will allow you to go neck to neck with most things out there...for a while
