how to adjust headlight?

My headlights don't point in the direction, I was hoping someone could tell me know to adjust them, thanks

I was also wondering if anyone knew what HID lights to get and where can I get them at a lower price

Thanks again

Whats the year model? I know the FB's have a **** that is on the motors covered with a rubber cap. I am not sure how much this helps on the direction any, I think you will have to look inside the headlight housing to fine tune the aiming. Not 100% sure I have to look into the manual when I work on the my headlights.

But with the HID lights, look on ebay. I just got mine today for 16.25 with 20 dollar shipping to MY total of 35.25. I had a coupon to bring the price down a little bit. I can get cheaper but the set I have comes with a set with H4 HID's, city lights I think 194 bulbs, and halo's on the rim. You can get em for 25 or less with city lights on em or with halo's or other designs but those may cost a bit more.

seriousley? thats good advice on the bottom of the light and outside of the light there are star headed screws you turn to make the light go up and down and side to side park 20 feet away from your garage door and go at it with the screw driver it is pretty basic also

i would go with nighthawk bulbs just the bulbs clean the headlight cover and you would be amazed at what a diffference it would make.

I recommend H-4 replacement headlights with Halogen bulbs. I have Hella E-code. I get mine here.

Real HID lights are going to cost much more than those Ebay simulations.

74RX4, thats a excellent post on the pictures there. Far superior than the ol black and white Haynes manual I can say although still helpful. What I got from ebay is a conversion kit similar from what can you get from hella. The only difference I noticed is that you won't pay taxes on the ebay stores or most online transactions, and I just want a lil extra stuff on the housing without modding and just make the same direct bolt on as the hella kit. The only time I want to look at the housing like that is changing the halo bulbs and city light bulbs or cleaning. Plus they throw in free bulbs with the set of xenon h4s and 194 bulbs for city. But I do get some good bulbs though hella since I think those xenons might be just more annoying to other peoples eyes than making it better to see

GenOne, you got the right screws and in the right places too. I knew it had to be somewhere on the pop up housing. I can't find any nighthawk bulbs for a 83 FB either, but I think if I can find the the right nighthawk bulb # that fits my upcoming conversion kit, I can try. Do you remember what bulb you used in your 7? Like bulb #9007 for example

JonnyBoy101, thats a nice SA you have there with those leuvers. I think the headlight haven't changed too much in the FB models but I think there were slight changes in the 83 or 84-85 models. But the nighthawks may work if there is the right bulb type with a headlight housing conversion kit we are talking about. It should be a direct bolt on application than getting the real HID's 74RX4 mentioned. They can be more costly and need work to install them.
