I think it's because there's alot more of them, than 1st or 3nd gens. I've had alot of help from Hailers and NZconvertible for my T2 swap.

I think we should have a battle of the 7's.

Don't the DSM people do that every year at a track?

Yeah, I've seen and heard of other enthusiast groups and they usually have bad attitudes. Like a lot of those honda people around here are idiots. With them, all they care about is having a car that gets more chicks than the other guy, or just having the most showey car possible.

Everyone I have met so far in the first gen community has been incredibly helpful. I have had people give me parts, cut me good deals, and give me more of their time to help me than I would expect

Yeah I read in all three, and I post inthe 2nd gen section as well as here, and the 1st gen forum by far is the friendliest.

However there are quite a few people in the second gen section that are really helpful, hailers and scott89t2 to name a few.

Ive always felt the 1st Gen section was more mature(Older?) then the majority of 2nd & 3rd gen owners. Also seem more interested in enjoying the car then just having the highest HP number. (Not that theres anything wrong with plenty of power)

dammit the only way we'd win is if rob over there gave turbo setups to everyone.

Speak for yourself, plenty of us have or are working on our own turby setups that could smoke the **** out of many 2nd gens

I've heard that the 2nd Gen forum is fraught with drama, but I haven't visited it myself.

yea i hate when they can't take a lil challenge and shut down the thread.....i was there for about 5 mins and i was like i think i'll ask my 1st gen people bout the 2nd gen too....see 1st gens according to me are the classic car era kinda thing....whereas a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen is more of the sporty can be riced out too fast too furious prototype....so most 2nd and 3rd gen owners are hot headed honda boys who ended up with a mazda instead of a honda (no offense to anyone just stating a fact)

i have noticed that too. i have had my gsl-se for about a year now so i have only gone on the 1st gen section. when i got my tII about a couple of weeks ago i started going on the 2nd gen section and i dont like it nearly as much as the 1st gen. if you need a 2nd gen forum, i think teamfc3s.org is much better.

I think we are alot more humble about our cars and most of us don't have some power hungry ego trip going on haha. There are acceptions to everything though I personaly know alot of cool 2nd and 3rd gen owners. At the other end I know some un-cool first gen owner also. Everygroup has both we just happen to have more cool people luckly. The other thing is there are more FC's around than any other gen rx7, so with the huge number of people there are bound to be more trolls.

2nd gen owners are just uptight cause they have all that extra weight in their ***. ANY set-up in a 1st gen will SMOKE the same set-up in a 2nd gen. (Just a thought.... I do own both.)
