hood scoop
Does it exist a scoop that can be glued or screwed on the stock FB hood to create an intake that works. I know rotorhead.ca sells one, but i think it must be molded in the stock hood, i don't wanna mold it and repaint the hole thing.

Screw in or glued? That'd look like crap! Plus the areas where the screws are will rust, slowly eating up your hood... A friend of mine used some glue-on scoop for his lightning (if I remember correctly)--I don't think he liked it very much (don't know why).

I'm going to try and use a WRX hood scoop. Big enough to be center mounted and has a duct for cooling the turbo area. I got one off ebay for $72 with the mount assembly, though I don't know if I'll use it all.
Looks like I'll have to fab up some kind of a baffle to maintain flow to the TMIC. Scoop is same inlet cross section vertically but several inches wider.
I think it will mount up OK, but have to get the engine in first. Prolly several months away at this point.
