hood latch

So my dad slammed the hood down when putting the battery back in and now the wire to the hood latch has broken off. How can I open it?

well unless you have a long skinny arm ou may have to cut the hood. I had to do it to my car a track day. I mesured my buddys to make sure i cut the hole in the right spot. what realy sucked was i had just done the paint nd had to cut through a 30 dollar custom decal that was right there.. i can give you measurements it u need them.

You can trip the latch from underneath the car with a long stiff wire with a hooked end, a mirror, and some patience.
