Holley jet size

Hey
I'm trying to set up a Holley 600cfm to work on my 13B with a large streetport. I need to know what whould be the best jet size to use in the primarys. Right now I have 61 in it. Does anyone know what all Racing Beat does to the Holley's they sell.

good question for sure. I've searched a little bit, and from what I gather you just gotta keep trying jets till you get the desired results.
I'm gonna have to tune my holley pretty soon, so I'm about in the same boat I think.

I take you've searched the forum alread?

Holley jets

I have a carb that was set up by Tri-Point back in 86. They used 61 jets in the primary and 64's in the secondaries. But it seems to be running way to rich. By the way it is a 1850 series 600 CFM. I beleive I might have another problem but I am not sure. I have a second 1850 that I might try and rebuild with center hung floats and the larger volume acelerator pump but I am tring to get some feedback on what others have done and what works and what doesn't. Also in the Tri-Point carb they did away with the power valve. Good or bad I don't know. I will be more then happy to share with all my mistakes. Hey thats how we learn.

More info than I got about mine right now. I'm gonna rebuild it when I have the cash, and obviously re-jet it. As it sits it runs really god damn rich, car has problems with idle, but I'm also not sure what the previous owner had done to the engine. It's supposed to be ported, how much is the quesiton? I'll take some pics and make a post when I actualy get to work on this bitch. gotta sell my lame *** VW for my pretty little 7.
