i went to the local auto parts an asked for a base gasket for my holley carb. they sold me a 1/4 inch spacer made out of some type of carboard material an a thin grey gasket. my ? is do i need to use that spacer an if so what order does the spacer an gasket go?

 

Stock thin gasket is what comes with the RB kit and most other Holleys. That's all you really need.
