Just shooting th sh*t with a guy at work today telling him about my first rebuild and he asked if I was interested in his holley 650w/ electronic choke, he says it's about 2 years old and he will throw in a rebuild kit he bought for it,,,, Like i said this is my first rebuild, I was just planning to rebuild the stock carb..
My question is will this work on my 12A and if so is the intake manifold that racing beat selling what I need for this application...
Oooh by the way he selling it to me for 75 bucks.

Unless you are doing at least a 1/2 bridgeport, full would be better, I wouldn't. The RB intake will work, but it needs to be the one that has the intake ports cut down to clear the butterflys, that or a spacer.

 

I'm not a carb expert, but that sounds like a lot of carb for a stock 12A. I'm using a Holley 650 double-pumper, but it's on a supercharger 13B.
