Holley 600 carb ?

how much of an upgrade is the holley 600? is it direct fit or is there some work involved? will my factory air cleaner fit on it?

search search search!! You need a different intake and carb, and without any engine mods that holley is miles too big. Only thing I suggest for a stock or streetported 12a is a sterling on a stock intake.

Holley 600 is way to big for a stock port motor. It will run like crap. Stay under 500 CFMs. Just ask yourself if 10 horsepower is worth losing some user friendliness and spending upwards of $1000. A good carb may net you 10 HP on a stock port. With a good exhaust and 2gdfis you can put out 25-30 HP more than stock all together.

If you want a bigger gain, look into swapping out your 3.909 rear gear for a higher ratio. RB sells kits.
