IF you are going with the RB 4v adaptor and one of the Holleys you mentioned.. yes it will work WELL. It will flow more, and you'll have a noticable increase over the stock nikki. But it will not be a stellar performer.
to give an idea.. I have a friend with the Holley/RB set-up vs another friend in a stock GSL-SE.. the -SE was still faster, although not by much.
My opinion is, if youalready have the RB set-up, use it, it is a nice way to go, and WAY WAY more user friendly than weber/mikuni (makes less power but more reliable). easy starts, good power band...
If you do not already own the RB set-up, have your stock Nikki rebuilt by a REPUTIABLE Nikki rebuilder/modifier. (I suggest Yaw or Sterling(never personally used a sterling carb, but have seen one in action)) If you aren't going to be racing it in a specific class, either port your existing manifold... or better yet, port a 77-80 manifold. (I port mine ala the sand/bead-blast method...)
damn that is alot of (())

Just make sure you're willing to learn how to tune the holley. RB-specific holleys have been modified for our cars, and reglar holleys are notorious for needing some TLC when you get them on your car. Then again, any aftermarket or modified carb would need some TLC to get the *full* benefit out of it.
