Hole Bridge

So today i finished breaking in my "Cheeseport".

ITs amazing the difference the second row of holes makes, comparing it to the 1 row.

Makes some really nice hp,starting at 7500.

I`am still busy tuning the fuel pressure.

Just wanted to say that it`s finished.

Hi Karis,

Are you still using the Bosch pump? I think it's way too much pressure.

Next quest : Getting the right spark plugs for performance

NGK B9EV is a good place to start. NGK makes a six dollar 10 heat range plug too but that might be too cold for street.

I use the twenty five dollar NGK 11 heat range plugs and thin copper washer in my full J bridge. Mazdamotorsports.com sells them. That's what my engine builder reccomended. It gets driven on road cource tracks only.

They also make a 11.5 plug.

"what do you mean I need a license plate officer?" That's a good one! :0:0:0:0

Congratulations on the breaking in. Are you going to try and dyno the motor ones you are done tuning it? It sounds like you have a pretty big overlap if it doesn't kick in until 7500k. I'm afraid mine is going to do the same thing.

I still got a few minor things i want to do to the motor and then i'm ready to put it together. Can't wait to start to break it in. Later

I hope to do a bridgeport one of these summers, but I really enjoy reading about people having the guts to try different things. Kudos, I say!

12abridgeport :
I sure will. One of these days when all of the little things are up to standard. The fuel pressure is better now.Just to get the right amount in for starting.

It has loads of overlap...just the way i like it!
