I do not know if they have any springs that are lower, but shoot them an email, you never know.

Most places dont make anything with a drop of more than about an inch. The springs arent really meant to lower it much more than that, its silly in the performance field. They also change the rates of the spring and everything else to make it perform, not just look cool sitting still. To lower that much and not care about performance, just torch or cut your stock ones.

NO DO NOT EVER USE ANY FLAME TO CUT SPRINGS like a torch only use cut off wheels and saws or somthing in there using a flame divise when cutting a spring will weaken the springs and lower ur spring rate making ur spring shitty

Yeah, but as I said, he doesnt care about performance Besides, I never said CUT the spring with the flame, you just heat it up and let it squish it, you cut it with a saw or wheel as you said .

you don't do either as you compromise the strength of the spring as a whole. You heat up the coil and let it "squish" and some spots settle more then others creating weak points which flex more than others. I've seen springs that have been squished and i just laughed at how unsafe they looked.

in order to lower it more than an inch or so i believe u would have to get those thigns that bolt on top of the strut tower that phyiscally move the strut up and inch. If you lower the car more than an inch with just springs i believe u will go through alot of shocks becvause you will bottom out alot

but will the 1 1/8 lowering make my tires tuck a little? also would new springs get rid of the nose dive when i am in a hard braking situation?

If you cut your springs, you have less coil to do the work. Cut springs end up being softer. Stiffer springs and adjustable shocks will lessen the nose dive.

Instead of going for shorter than 1-1/4", get the strut tower extensions. That way you can keep the suspension travel and steering geometry. Also helps ride quality and saves tires.
