Hitches and bogs and junkyard engineering

I'm gettin' crazy, CRAZY idears now...

(peejay was last seen comtemplating getting the whole fuel injection setup, manifold and all, from a N/A FC, and adapting it all to a well-ported 12A)

Making a 6 port 13B manifold fit a 12A 4 port would be a hell of a lot of work.

It'd be cool thogh

Oh no, the lower manifold would have to be fabricated... could also use a GSL-SE upper and a Dellorto-conversion lower made for a 12A... but that costs lots of $$$ and then you're stuck with the -SE manifold.

Might have to use an 'SE center plate anyway, for the fuel injector mounts. Time will tell.

Food for though!

I too cotemplated this and it can be done here is how. They, being racing beat mazda trix etc.. all sell adapter plates alowing you to bolt your 12a carbs and intake to a 6 port 13b. Now what if you turn the plate around and bolted your 13b intake to your 12a block, it would work. You would have to be sure the adapter plaet you bought had all its holes tapped right though, you tap and plug the water holes and bolt the plate to the 12a with flush allen bolts, ta-dah injected 12a.
