Hit 350,000 today

basicly thats it...

i was excited, so excited infact, that i tookk photos, but ill have to chuck em up later coz im at uni now

it works out to about 58Km per day, everyday, for the last 21 years. crazy
everything except the extractors and exhaust is still stock, and the only problem ive got now is that the rear passenger side brake is making funny ticking noises.
but hey.. cant complain

any one else out there with fairly high millage?

288000 miles, not original engine, much has been changed since its 12a days

works out to around

463,490 if the equation above is right

so that would be around 37miles a day or...59 km a day

damn this car has seen lots of road!! can anyone beat that?

Thumbs up Al Icky Bundy

Ever see the "Married with Children" episode in which Al Bundy's odometer turns over on the original motor of the car. Once Dodge hears about this they offer him a Dodge Viper in return for the car turning over while they film it. Well why not contact Mazda and see if they can offer you a Rx-8 in return for the car, I doubt any rotary has gone as far as yours. I know it's a long shot, but hey - it's worth a shot.

And people say rotaries are unreliable!!! HAHAHAHAHA. More reliable than a ford at least.

My car is currently at 275 196 KM. Original engine went out at 275 195 KM. Now the car has a ported S4 13B.

Thumbs up Shooting for 200,000 miles

My 7 is at about 198,500 miles - 319,455 Kilometers . This is on the original 12A engine. As far as I know, and I have records, the engine has never beem opened up. I am the second owner of the car and have put the last 50+k on my self.

I am planning a celebration at 200,000 miles.

Maybe I should contact Mazda... I would look really good in an RX-8 for daily driving and kid hauling, and a 1st Gen for sporting around.

84SE - 183k miles, still running strong.

My 80LS made 212k miles before the engine blew and that was partly my fault for not changing the oil cooler lines in time. Plus, 2 seasons of SCCA Solo II autocross.

These engines are strong.
