High power starter

Does anyone know of a high power starter that can put your engine at higher RPMs than the stock one? Maybe something that would spin it just as fast as a push start.

I have long wondered if we could get something like that. Or put in a gear drive to speed up the current one.

The current one will spin plenty fast IF you have new battery cables and a strong battery.

You'd be amazed at the difference between 20yr old battery cables and new ones. Even and old starter can get one heck of a boost if it's getting a better connection to a strong battery.

And if your carb isn't outta whack and your spark system is good, you can start it under almost any conditions

It seems the thicker the cable, the faster it will spin .
I put welder leads(1 gauge I believe) on my 302ci pu starter and it spins like crazy.
Used a large battery post clamp, and solderd the eyelets on also.
