High Beam Problem
Sorry for posting so many problems, my Cars special like that
When I have the head lights on, I can't turn on the high beams, I can flicker the high beams on and off (by pulling the switch towards me) but if I actually click them on (pushing the switch away from me) the lights go out completely, its incredibly dangerous, as around where I live, its all highway (i-5), and no streetlights, I'm thinking it may be the lights, but I can turn the high beams on, but only by pulling the switch back towards me and holding them, so it may be the wiring, but I don't know what to look for, or what to do
Any help would be really great, as on the 5th, I'm taking it to Reno at night, and that drive is hell.
Thanks

I have the exact same problem, it used to be if i kept trying to click them on, they'd eventually work... but that doesn't work anymore now either, it must be somewhat common.

Got the same deal..it's your combo switch. Pull off steering wheel, take off combo switch and clean it up with contact cleaner. There's a couple of metal contacts inside there (you can see them when you look closely), they're either dirty or not touching at all.
