HID kit for an 82? Possible

First off,
I just wanna say hello to my fellow rotary brotheren. After a long time of looking into rotaries I finally got one and joined this forum.

My question is. Would the proper HID kit fit an 82 FA? Has anyone done this? What sorts of problems might I encounter. If possible, does anyone have an pictures or tutorials?

Thumbs up

it is possible. i have HID's on aftermarket H4 housings and they are very bright but have a very poor cutoff since it is not a true projector nor a housing specifically built for HID's. i am using Xenon gen2 ballasts and Phillips d2s bulbs w/ cutoff.

my other buddy is using integra projectors retrofitted for the FB w/ HID's as well. his has a better cutoff and is more concentrated.
