Maybe they're redrilled? Did any Japanese market '7s have the 4x114.3mm bolt pattern?
No, and they never had the 13B either. They had the 12AT.

Unless he got it re-drilled for non-SE wheels, no it's not a GSL-SE.

And there is no j-spec GSL-SE. AS I said, they got a Turbo 12A version of the GSL.

Hi!

The Rotorwheels were standard on the cars sold in sweden in 1983.
I have had two of these cars..
Heres a pic of the last wheels I had.. they had been repainted and were not in very good shape.

Right, they got the 12AT and we got the 13B 6-port. I just wanted to know if the 12AT had 4x114.3 or 4x110 because as far as I know those wheels are 4x110. (basically is the US market the only one to get 4x114.3 bolt pattern? Awfully odd considering they only made a handful of GSL-SE's)

That's exactly my point... according to the VIN, it IS a GSL-SE, it had the 13B installed from the factory. (8th digit is 2 = 13B)

Must've put 12A axles and rotors (and therefore brakes) on the car... or corrupted the VIN slightly

I don't think mazda made a factory 17" wheel for the first gen,for any market! The wheels in your post are Simmons FR's an Australian made wheel, mabe dealer installed but not factory.

If you want to be 100% positve pull a wheel and write the casting numbers down then go to this sight www.revolutionwheelsusa.com contact them give them the numbers and find out for sure. Just so you know in the late 70's early 80's there was immitations made of this wheel but not many of the ripoffs are a 3 piece wheel.
