Here's the problem: Stock 12A with K&N and Monza exhaust. When I jump on it, at any RPM, there's a brief hesitation before it blasts off. Almost like the float in the carb is stuck or something. Ideas?

 

First of all make sure your accelerator pump is working. Look down the top of the carb and work the throttle by hand. You should see a nice strong squirt of fuel down into the primaries. It if works then it might just need adjusting. You could also try richening the idle mixture by about a 1/4 of a turn and see if it makes any difference. Hope this helps.
